Since 2017, we developed our presence nationwide in the US market in both retail and foodservice. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to drive sales and foster strategic partnerships in Southern California.
JOB DESCRIPTION
La Fermière is looking for an Area Sales Manager based in SoCal to help develop the food service channel across the region with a focus on building strong relationship with the main partners (working with management companies, distributors, chefs, F&B managers..)
As an Area sales manager, based in Los Angeles , you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to promote La Fermière’ s products and expand its customer base in both food service and retail (70-30%).
It requires a strong and motivated person that needs to be 80% of the time on the field to reinforce and develop the brand presence.
Working closely with the West Coast Sales Manager, you will help to identify new business opportunities, build relationships with key stakeholders, and drive revenue growth based on the strategy. This role requires a strong understanding of the food industry, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record in sales development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the West coast team to define sales objectives, develop strategic plans, for both retail and the food service (hotel, corporate cafeteria, coffee stores, country clubs…).
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including retailers, foodservice customers to expand La Fermière’ s market presence.
Conduct weekly field visits (3-4 days) to current food service clients and prospects.
Help on the development on some account in food service such as Las Vegas and in other areas for retail such as Arizona, Utah with potential field trips.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, distributors, and industry partners to maximize sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
Expand product offerings within existing accounts, increasing brand presence and placement
Monitor and analyze sales data, track performance against targets, and provide regular reports/presentation and updates to the management team, highlighting areas of success and areas for improvement.
Represent La Fermière at industry trade shows, events (demos), and networking opportunities to generate leads, increase brand visibility, and foster business partnerships.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or more in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Bilingual (French – English) is a plus but not mandatory
Proven 2-3 years’ experience in business sales development, preferably within the food or beverage industry is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop sales strategies accordingly.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to travel nationwide in the US
Driving license mandatory
Available for at least 12 months
